Want to make a difference in the lives of youth in Indianapolis? Join the Intercollegiate YMCA as we begin our journey into three low income public housing communities on the near east side of Indianapolis to provide free after school programs! We are partnering with IHA (Indianapolis Housing Agency) and have created a partnership with local communities that are in need of programming for their youth. We are always looking for volunteers to help with homework/tutoring, games and activities, arts and crafts, science experiments, and more!
Our programs are held Monday-Friday from 4:00-6:00pm in the following communities:
· Mondays – Beechwood Gardens
· Tuesdays – Hawthorne Place
· Wednesdays – Blackburn Terrace
· Thursdays – Hawthorne Place
· Fridays – Beechwood Gardens
*We also have programming Monday-Friday from 4:00-6:30pm in the Laurelwood Community.
